Federico Gutierrez achieved the official candidacy for center-right candidate with more than 1.7 million votes. Former mayor of Medellin was elected Barguil (Char) Penalosa, Barguil (Char), and Tab of Los Cristianos.

He was also involved in the Panama Papers investigation led by Daniel Coronell for keeping his cash in tax havens, and also for corruption.
Fico Gutierrez confronted former mayors whom were his supporters. He told them, “I’ve been in solidarity” with them.
A new contest for the presidency
The so-called Experience coalition, which later was renamed the Team for Colombia, was created in the month of the month of October in 2021. Federico Gutierrez was the Center-right alliance , and was elected to the presidency. Fico Gutierrez , a Democratic Center congressman, ran again for the seat in 2022.
