Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born on 7 th of December 1973, to Mr. and Mrs. Tim Oyakhilome, as the first son of the family. Following his primary and secondary schooling, he enrolled in Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained an BSc in Architecture.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome delved into ministry while he was still a student at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was in the beginning known as Youths For Christ.
