Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child of the Oyakhilome family, and was born the 7th of December, 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome. He completed his primary and secondary education from Ambrose Alli University. After graduation, he earned a BSc Architecture.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his ministry career while at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship, today Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (YFC) was known at that time as the Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship.
YFC was growing and eventually became the largest fellowship on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld is a global organization that has millions and associates around the world.
Through the 2002 atmosphere for miracles programme, BLW rose to prominence as a Christian ministry on TV in Africa. The program was cancelled by the president Olusegun Obasanjo in May 2004.
