Chris Oyakhilome, a Nigerian TV host and pastor, is the author. He is also the president of Believers’ LoveWorld Inc., also known under Christ Embassy International.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child of the Oyakhilome family and was born on the 7th of December, 1973 to Tim Oyakhilome. Following his primary and secondary education, he attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained the BSc in Architecture.

AAU also gave him an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds an honorary Doctor of Science from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was one time a husband to Anita Obhodaghe. He and she have two wonderful children.

While still attending AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his journey into ministry. At the time, the Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated was known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC was quickly growing and soon became the largest campus fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the location of the church’s headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld now has millions of associates and followers across the world.

The InnerCity Mission to children is a faith based nongovernmental Organisation. In 2005, the NGO was created to aid the most orphaned and needy children living in the poverty of their homes.

Children and their families are supported by the foundation’s participatory and sustainable interventions. They include childcare programmes, child development programmes and strengthening of families.
