Chris Oyakhilome from Nigeria is a pastor, a television host, and an author. He is president of the Believers’ LoveWorld Inc which is also called Christ Embassy International.

Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (or Chris Oyakhilome) was born on December 7, 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome as the first child. He attended secondary and primary school, then he attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria, where he got a BSc. in Architecture.

AAU also awarded him an honourary Doctor of Science Award. He is also a recipient of an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was one time a husband to Anita Obhodaghe. He and they have two lovely children.

Chris Oyakhilome Ministry
While in AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was in the AAU student program. He began his journey into ministry while still at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was at that time called Youths For Christ.

YFC grew rapidly and was the largest campus church. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church has its headquarters in Lagos. Believer’s LoveWorld is a global organization which has thousands of associates worldwide.

Through the atmosphere for miracles series, BLW became Africa’s most popular Christian ministry via television. They stopped airing the programme in May of 2004, after the then President of Nigeria – President Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should not air miracles on TV.

The InnerCity Mission is a faith-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). Chris Oyakhilome The NGO was birthed in 2005, with the intention of reaching the needy, poor children, orphaned and vulnerable living as poor all over the world..

Through participatory and sustainable programs The foundation aids families and children in need. These include child development programmes for childcare, strengthening family programmes and InnerCity Mission for Children School.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma Care International Foundation was created to enhance the quality of life and the longevity in local communities and nations. The foundation also advocates for improved emergency response in the case of emergencies and accidents. The foundation is able to accomplish this feat by supporting the national policies relating to health education and trauma treatment. The foundation has conducted more than 1000 first aid, safety, emergency response training.
