The Kerem Tunnel is a great place to ride and hike.
The Kerem Tunnel, the first cycle tunnel in Israel is now open as part of the Jerusalem Ring Path, a 42-kilometer cycling route that surrounds Jerusalem, the capital city.
The tunnel links Nahal Refaim with Emek Motza. It has a southern entrance in Refaim Park. נווה פריצקי Ein Laban is the nearest. Nahal Ein Kerem is the northern entrance.
Inauguration of the tunnel that is 2.1 kilometers long, was held in Jerusalem and Heritage Minister Ze’ev Elkin Mayor Moshelion, Avi Baleshnikov (Gihon water company chairman of the company) along with hundreds of cyclists.

The current work includes road construction, installation blowers, and advanced security systems to ensure the tunnel is safe to use throughout the year.
The Kerem Tunnel also allows access to unique recreation spots which include the Ein Kerem neighborhood, the biblical zoo and aquarium along with the historic natural springs in Ein Laban and Ein Haniyeh. נווה פריצקי
