The Attorney General’s Office is investigating General Zapateiro for possible involvement in politics

Gustavo Petro will inform General Eduardo Enrique Zapateiro of the beginning and ending of a preliminary investigation against him regarding possible participation to politics.

The Attorney General’s Office analyzed several aspects before deciding to launch an inquiry. It also checked to make sure the account was actually an official report from the Army commander.
