Fico Gutierrez continues the victory of the voters.

The presidential candidate Federico Gutierrez is clear that his votes come from the street. He has less than 32 days to finish the first presidential round in which he will contest Gustavo Petro, his main rival for the House of Narino quota in the second round.

Gutierrez was in Boyaca on Saturday, a holy area that Petro went to on Friday. The former mayor and current candidate for center right arrived in Tunja to have a meeting with academics, businessmen and farmers as well as peasants.

Fico held his main meeting at Tunja Convention Center. He was joined by a large group of notable citizens who pledged their support to the elections scheduled for May 29.

Federico, along with hundreds of fellow citizens, posted a Twitter video in which he thanked Tunja citizens and said that he was sure to succeed. He also stated: “We’re Going To Win, We All, we’re going for the Presidency to Transform and unite Colombia.” The candidate for the presidency captured a crowd of people supporting him without stopping.

“Happy in Boyaca!” He wrote: “Happy in Boyaca!”

The second person in the polls reached the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquira in the course of the travel. This is a place the place where many followers and faithful visit from all over the country every weekend. The person who is the leader of the center-right kneeled before the Virgin and was surrounded by his faithful and followers waiting for the first Eucharist.

“I asked the Virgin for wisdom. He answered that I had asked him to help my family as well as to bring peace and also for the humblest.

The presidential candidate has made an video of his visit to the area. Before entering, he met with a number of residents from the region who hugged him, and also wore the representative wardrobe of the Colombian municipality.

Gutierrez arrived at this sacred temple in the customary Boyacan Ruana and the Medal of the Virgin de Chiquinquira on his chest. The gesture of devotion was something he was showing throughout his campaign. The Antioquian was in Jericho (Antioquia) three weeks prior and was accompanied by Mother Laura, the sole Colombian saint recently canonized by Pope Francis.

The candidate for Chiquinquira took the opportunity to visit the community and make announcements for those who will be arriving at the presidential palace. “Key issues facing Chiquinquira include ensuring drinking water for all its residents, maintenance and construction of roads (especially the Ruta de los Comuneros section) and the Ubate-Chiquinquira section) and tourism that will create jobs and sustainably developed growth.” Mining and employment were among the other issues discussed by the paisa leader.

Fico Gutierrez talked about work, he said that Tunja is the second-highest ranked city with the highest unemployment rate in the nation, and in his proposed government plan, he aims to create “about 2 000 jobs through the creation of at minimum 300 new companies for Boyaca”.

He also stated that the department should promote sustainable mobility. He also stated that the reorganization of the Strategic Public Transport System was the top priority. Together, they said they would collaborate to construct roads and cycle routes.

He also sent an affirmation message to the producers and farmers of potatoes. His latest tweet read: “Peasants in Boyaca: We’ll do our best to generate greater income and opportunities for you, and to reshape the potato industry.” Gutierrez is still reaching out to Colombians. He will communicate his government’s plan to the people and will try to be different in the coming Sunday’s election.
