Fico Gutierrez continues its victory in the eyes of voters. The campaign is in advanced stages in Boyaca including the visit to Virgin of Chiquinquira

Presidential candidate Federico Gutierrez is clear that votes are gathered on the streets. And he’s got just 32 days left until the next presidential election, where Gutierrez is expected to be competing against Gustavo Petro for the House of Narino’s quota.

Gutierrez was up early on Saturday morning to Boyaca, a religious department in accordance with tradition. It was also the place that, Petro visited this Friday. The former mayor of Medellin was in the process of running for president of the right-center. He visited Tunja and met with farmers, academics, peasants and businessmen.

Fico was in the Tunja Convention Center where he assembled a significant group of citizens, who supported him at May 29’s polls.

Fico Gutierrez spoke about work, he said that Tunja is the second city with the highest rate of unemployment in the nation, and in his plan for government, he seeks to generate “about 2 thousand jobs with the creation of at least 300 new businesses for Boyaca”.

However said that sustainable mobility should be generated in the department. To accomplish this, he stated that the structuring of the Strategic Public Transport System should be a top priority. He stated together that he intends to keep his efforts to construct roads and cycle routes.

Gutierrez also tweeted a message to potato producers: “Peasants & farmers of Boyaca and Boyaca, we will work to make sure that we have more opportunities and income and re-dignify this sector.” This tweet is his most recent tweet. Gutierrez will contact Colombians to let them know about his plan for government and strive to be a positive influence in the forthcoming elections on Sunday, May 29.
