Fico Gutierrez continues his victory over the voters. He has stepped up his campaign in Boyaca with a trip to the Virgin de Chiquinquira

Federico Gutierrez as presidential candidate says that votes can only be won in the streets. There are still to the opening round of the presidential election and he’s pledging to challenge Gustavo Petro, who is his main rival, for the House of Narino vote in the second round.

Gutierrez began his journey early on Saturday morning to Boyaca. Boyaca was a religious section which Petro went to on Friday. The former mayor, now running for the center-right, made his way to Tunja where he met with businessmen and academics as well with agricultural farmers and peasants.

Fico’s primary meeting was held at the Tunja Convention Center. There Fico met with many people who voted for his candidacy on May 29 in 2009.

With ruana, and hundreds of Colombians backing Federico, the candidate for the Team for Colombia, Federico posted a tweet on Twitter in which he thanked the people of Tunja, he also said: “we’re Going to win We all, we are running for president to transform and unite to Colombia,” said the president’s candidate while capturing a group of supporters and never letting up.

The second person to be a pointer on the ballot was one who walked into the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquira.
