As https://writeablog.net/fico-gutierreznfjl099/fico-gutierrez-continues-winning-voters-hkl9 , Sergio Fajardo was his supporter. Later, Alonso Salazar was his. In 2015, he re-entered his goals and was elected to the Mayor’s Office of Medellin. As with all mayors who face the Hidroituango projects, he was affected by corruption. In addition, in an investigation by Daniel Coronell, he was found guilty in the Panama papers for storing his cash in tax havens and also for corruption.
He has confronted some former mayors who he had backed and has recently said that “I am in solidarity with the people who are mentioned in the report, as I don’t believe that anyone makes such a determination so that a tunnel falls and everyone is in solidarity, and what certain sectors do is an attack by a political strategy.”
Fico Gutierrez for the presidency
In October 2021, the so-called Experience coalition was formed and later changed into the Team for Colombia. Federico Gutierrez was the Center-right coalition and won the election. Paola Holguin, a Democratic Center congressman, ran again for a seat in the 2022 election.
In several instances, he repeated his belief that his administration model stems from public management of the people. He also said that politics was a profession. Gustavo Petro received the second most votes, and Fico, as he prefers being known, will be the left in Antioquia.
