Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first son of the Oyakhilomes, having been born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on 7 th December 1973. After his primary and secondary schooling, he enrolled in Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained the BSc in Architecture.

AAU also gave him an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two children.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his ministry career while at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (YFC) was known at that time as Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship.

YFC grew and was the largest of the fellowships on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the church’s headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld now has millions of followers and associates across the world. Through the 2002 atmosphere of miracles, BLW became Africa’s most popular Christian ministry. The program was pulled by the president Olusegun Obasanjo in May 2004.
