Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born on 7 of the 7 of December 1973 to Mr and Mrs Tim Oyakhilome, as the first child of the family. He finished his secondary and primary studies at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. He graduated with an BSc.
AAU also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was previously married to Anita Obhodaghe. They have two children.
Chris Oyakhilome Ministry
While still in AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a pupil. He began to explore ministry while still at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship was known at the time as Youths For Christ (YFC).
YFC grew to become the largest campus-based church. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the church’s main office. Believer’s LoveWorld is a global organization which has thousands of associates across the world.
Through the 2002 atmosphere for the miracles program, BLW rose to prominence as an Christian ministry on TV in Africa. The InnerCity Mission For Children
The InnerCity Mission is a faith-based nongovernmental Organisation (NGO). In 2005 the organization was founded to assist the poor homeless, depressed, orphaned and children who are vulnerable .
The foundation assists these disadvantaged children and communities through providing an inclusive and sustainable program such as child development programmes for childcare and family strengthening programs for innercity mission children school, and other programs.
Trauma Care International Foundation
The TraumaCare Foundation was founded to increase the lifespan and health of local communities. The foundation is able to accomplish this goal by assisting in the development of the national policies relating to trauma and health education.
Over a thousand were given first aid, safety and emergency response instruction from the foundation. Record has it that, they succeeded in educating thousands of students in schools and law enforcement personnel and teachers, caregivers, and road transport employees.
Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC).
The Volunteer Medical Corps is an international medical outreach of the christian faith. It provides relief materials, medical aid, and education for refugees and internally displaced individuals within affected regions.
The outreach comprises students from all nations as well as paramedics, christian healthcare professionals. They provide medical emergency aid, relief and long-term health care solutions for those in crisis.
