Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first child of the Oyakhilomes having been born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on the 7 th December 1973. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his ministry journey while still at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship was known at the time as Youths For Christ (YFC).
YFC has seen rapid growth and was the largest campus fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the main location for the church. Believer’s LoveWorld is a worldwide ministry with millions of associates across the world.
In 2002, during the atmosphere for miracles programme, BLW rose to prominence as an Christian ministry on television in Africa. The program was canceled in May 2004 , when President Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria declared that churches should stop broadcasting miracles.
