Chris Oyakhilome: Biography of The President of Christ Embassy Church

Chris Oyakhilome from Nigeria is a pastor, television host, and author. He is the CEO and President of Believers’LoveWorld Incorporated which is and is also known as Christ Embassy International.

Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (or Chris Oyakhilome) was born on the 7th of December 1973 and was the son of Tim Oyakhilome as the first child. He completed his elementary and secondary education from Ambrose Alli University. After graduation, he earned an BSc Architecture.

AAU also presented him with an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was earlier married to Anita Obhodaghe. They have two children.

While still studying at AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his journey into the field of ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship was known at the time as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC has seen rapid growth and was the largest campus fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld is a worldwide ministry that has millions and associates across the world.

Through the 2002 atmosphere of miracles program, BLW became Africa’s most prominent Christian ministry. They stopped airing the program in May of 2004, following the then President of Nigeria- President Olusegun Obasanjo declared that miracles must be stopped by churches.

Pastor Chris’s Ministry includes four branches including publishing ministry, the healing ministry, television ministry and the teaching ministry. These are the ministries he used to create the healing school, the setting for miracles and the global prayer network of Pastor Chris.

The Future Africa Leaders Foundation was founded to increase and investigate the potential for leadership of Africans. The foundation recognizes, honors and supports youngsters Africans who have demonstrated exemplary leadership by impacting their generations positively. The InnerCity Mission to children is an evangelical nongovernmental Organisation. In 2005 the organization was founded to assist the needy, needy and orphaned children who live in the poverty of their homes.

These children and their communities benefit from the foundation’s participatory and sustainable interventions. These include programs for childcare as well as child development programs and strengthening of families.

Trauma Care International Foundation
