Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (or Chris Oyakhilome) was born on the 7th of December 1973 in the home of Tim Oyakhilome as the first child. He finished his secondary and primary education at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. He graduated with a BSc.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his ministry while he was still an undergraduate student at AAU. The Believers LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was then known as Youths For Christ.
YFC was growing and eventually was the largest church on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy.
