While still studying at AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began to get involved in ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was in the beginning known as Youths For Christ.
YFC was able to grow to become the largest campus fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is home to the church’s headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld today has millions of followers and associates all over the globe.
Through its 2002 environment for miracles program, BLW was the most popular Christian broadcasting channel in Africa. They stopped airing the programme in May 2004, when the president of the time, Nigeria – Olusegun Obasanjo announced that the country’s president had resigned Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should cease airing miracles on TV.
Pastor Chris’s Ministry comprises four parts including publishing ministry for healing and teaching for television, and television ministry for television ministry. He also has created the Pastor Chris Live Global Prayer Network, which is an environment for miracles, as well as healing schools.
