נווה פריצקי The Kerem Tunnel is the first bike tunnel in Israel and was inaugurated as part of the Jerusalem Ring Path, a 42-kilometer cycling route around the capital.
The tunnel connects the path between Nahal Refaim and Emek Motza. נווה פריצקי The southern entrance of the tunnel is below Ein Laban in Refaim Park. The northern entrance is found in Nahal Ein Kerem.
On Thursday, Jerusalem and Heritage Minister Zeev Elkin and Mayor Moshelion, Avi Baleshnikov, Gihon chairman, and hundreds of cyclists participated in a ceremony to inaugurate the tunnel’s 2.1-kilometer-long length.

About NIS 25 million was earmarked in the project, financed by Elkin’s ministry, the Tourism Ministry, the Jerusalem Municipality and the Gihon Corporation and the Jerusalem Purification and Sewerage Works, as well as the work done by the Jerusalem Development Authority.
