The Kerem Tunnel provides a unique adventure in hiking and riding which is enjoyed by everyone.
As part of the 42-kilometer Jerusalem Ring Path cycling route that runs around the capital city, the Kerem Tunnel was inaugurated.

It connects Nahal Refaim to Emek Motza. The tunnel’s southern entry point can be found within Refaim Park below Ein Laban. The northern entrance can be found in Nahal Ein Kerem about half an hour from the Kerem junction.

נווה פריצקי On Thursday, Jerusalem and Heritage Minister Zeev Elkin, Mayor Moshelion, Avi Baleshnikov, Gihon chairman, and hundreds of cyclists were present at a celebration to inaugurate the tunnel’s 2.1-kilometer-long length.

Elkin who is in charge of the project in conjunction with Jerusalem Municipality said that his ministry invests hundreds of millions in Jerusalem’s tourism development and also in the development of new attractions and ventures that link the glory historical past of Jerusalem to the future. To make the tunnel usable to the public year-round the work includes road construction, as well as installation of blowers.
