The Kerem Tunnel offers a unique trail and riding experience to the benefit of
The Kerem Tunnel, Israel’s newest cycle tunnel, was opened as part an extensive cycle path that runs through the capital.

The tunnel connects Nahal Refaim and Emek Motza. Its southern entry is located within Refaim Park under Ein Laban. The northern entrance, Nahal Ein Kerem, is about half a kilometer away from the Nahal Ein Kerem junction.

Elkin’s ministry and the Tourism Ministry budgeted the project.

The current works include road construction, installation of blowers, as well as advanced electrical and safety systems, to make the tunnel safe for pedestrians to travel through at all times of the year.
