The Kerem Tunnel is a great place to ride and hike.
In the 42-kilometer Jerusalem Ring Path cycling route that surrounds Jerusalem’s capital, the Kerem Tunnel was inaugurated.
The tunnel connects Nahal Refaim and Emek Motza. It has a southern entrance within Refaim Park. Ein Laban is the nearest. Nahal Ein Kerem is the northern entrance.

Jerusalem was a popular tourist destination due to its glorious historical. נווה פריצקי Elkin stated that the current tourist industry is a part of Jerusalem’s treasures from the past and incorporates modern day tourism. “The launch (of [this] tunnel project is an additional part of the growth of Jerusalem as well as its transformation into a desirable tourist city for all sorts of visitors in Israel and around the globe.”

The Kerem Tunnel, originally excavated by the Gihon Corporation in the 1990s in order to move its main sewer line towards the Sorek purification plant.

Present work includes road construction, installation blowers, and advanced safety equipment to ensure the tunnel is secure for all to use throughout the year.
The Kerem Tunnel allows for access to unique recreational areas, like Ein Kerem, a neighborhood which has a Biblical zoo and aquarium and ancient natural springs Ein Haniyeh and Ein Laban.
